Road Rally
February 12, 2012
The PGIslanders Road Rally 2012 is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012.
The Rally will start early afternoon and be followed by a dinner in the early evening to present
all the answers and announce the winners. Start getting your teams together and planning your strategy.
Sign up will be available starting with the January PGIslanders meeting. It would be helpful if you could
tell us who is on your team and who is driving when you sign up, but go ahead and sign up even if you don’t
have a team yet.
For new members, the Road Rally consists of a set of clues to help you follow a route and answer questions along your way. It is best done with teams of 4-7 PGIslanders in a car or van since more eyes looking for clues improve your chances. Call the Rally Masters or ask any older members if you need additional information.
Because of the number of participants, we have to limit participation to PGIslanders only.

Host a Dinner 4 8
2012 is here and I am looking forward to chairing another successful year of dinner 4 8. I hope that many of you will join us for the delicious food, interesting conversation and an opportunity to get to better know your fellow PGIslanders. The format is simple and open to innovation.
- We will have 4 rounds of dinners- Feb.-March, April-May, Sept.-Oct., Nov.-Dec.
- You will need to be host once during the year.
- The host is responsible for the main meal and the other guests bring assigned dishes,(Salad, dessert, etc.).
- The host sets the date that will best accommodate the group.
- You need not host a sit-down dinner, other options are fine.
I will be available at the January meeting for people to sign up or you can e-mail or call me for sign-up or questions.
